Header Piece Bent

Will this be a problem? I didn't drop it, and it was in the box pretty tight, so I don't see how it could have happened during shipping either.

Pics:

Can it be hammered or bent back? Or will that make it worse? I'm afraid it will cause a leak.

Re: Header Piece Bent

it more than likely will cause a leak. Those ball and socket style exhaust connections are pretty common for not sealing properly.

Re: Header Piece Bent

I'd try to hammer it a little. Should be fine, looks like it's just the very outer lip. If it's like the ball joints on MACs, that piece slips into the other joint. It'd be a bigger problem if that was the female end.

Re: Header Piece Bent

Thanks guys. Look like the bend is above the hookup, so hopefully I should be good.
