That is where mine is mounted now. They said its not legal. Its been there for 3 years with no problems, until this @sshole in St Paul thought he would make an example out of me or something...

So, now I have to modify a bracket or something to go on the front of my bumper. Im not sure how I am going to do it, but I want it lower than the stock one. The stocker sits up too high... Any ideas?

I read about half of this, but I think I know a cure for your front plate problem. Thrash your front plate. Bend it, crunch it. Just make it so that you can't mount it anymore. Then tell the DMV it fell off on the highway, or some kid vandalized it. They have to send a new one, and they send it so that you have to sign for it. Never accept delivery. You can't mount a front plate that you never got.

I hate the children safety thing, how is it any less safe traveling down a street at 40 mph then 60 mph? Either way the person is dead. Less time to react? Kids don't know better right, they won't move. Atop that you should be monitoring your children ALL the time that they are outside.
