I've done this a bunch of times, no superglue is needed. Use a digital camera to capture the fuel gauge position and with the engine fully warmed up and idling get the position of the tach, oil and temp.

Pull the needles off, peel off the factory face and apply the new face.

Now start the engine again, let it fully warm up, look at the pictures you took and stick the needles back on in the same places. Give each one a carefull gentle flick with your finger to seat it on its post fully. DO not use superglue.

For the speedometer-
Have a buddy pace you at 60 with your cruise control(or use a GPS) and stick the needle on at 60. Give it a gentle flick.

Or - if you have a scanner, you can use the scanner to obtain readings for speed and RPM from the PCM and set the needles to match.

When I'm going 60 MPH on my GPS, the PCM reads 60 and the speedo reads 61. Pretty close if you ask me. My tach is 200 RPM fast according to the scanner, I'll have to correct that next time I have the dash apart. I wish I had the scanner when I did my gauges, it would of made things alot easier.
