Install fuel pump

My fuel pump is going out. A couple questions.... What is a good replacement pump. I saw one at summit for $125 that was 90 PSI. Seemed to be decent but I don't know. Any recommendations? I'm running a CC306 & 1.6:1 RR w/ pretty much stock motor.

Also I really prefer not to cut up the body of my car. What all is involved in dropping the tank & rear end? Is there any cutting, welding etc. or is it all bolts?

Thanks!

Re: Install fuel pump

I would go with the racetronix and harness. It ran me about $220 new but its a complete kit ready to bolt in. Its the only fuel pump made for our cars, all the other pumps are just universal ones you make fit. I would also cut the hole in your trunk. It saved me a lot of time, and when i started up the car and my fuel gauge wasn't reading correctly it only took me 15 mins to pull the pump/sending unit out and fix the problem. I would of blown up the car if i would of had to drop the tank again to fix the problem.
