im having problems when i turn my wheel....

alright,when i turn my wheel when im either driving VERY slow like 5mph or so, or not moving at all, i hear a sound coming from the frontthat sounds like thing branches breaking 1 at a time, ( lol sorry didn tknow of a better way to describe it), but it doesnt always do it and this just started a couple days ago, any ideas? any help is GREATLY appreciated..

Power steering pump is most likely the culprit.

Before you conclude it is something more time consuming (like a steering pump) inspect your steering linkage. There is a cheap plastic cover that protects a universal joint that might be out of place and causing the condition you describe. Stand on the driver's side of the car, and with a flashlight trace the steering linkage coming from the firewall down towards the front of the car. Between the engine block and the left wheel well, is where you'll find this part. I ended up taking mine off because I was sick of it interfering in the steering operation. Good luck!
