How to Insure former Police B4c ?
I'm looking into buying a 1998 camaro Police ,and, since it's not listed as a "Z28" in the GM option book, I was wondering if I could list it as a Camaro "coupe" and save myself an a$$load of dough on Insurance?
Please tell me you can do it!Anything except $3000+ yearly premiums

most insurance companies will automatically list it as a z28. you shouldnt see any higher of a premium as anyone else. they ask if its a 6 or 8 cylinder. the ones around here dont care if its z28, b4c, zl1 etc.

I've insured my car in two different states - both times they just asked me for the VIN - came back as a "Camaro Z28/SS" in both cases. Just answer them truthfully whatever they ask, don't want them to deny a claim in case the worst happens.
