I have wired a warning lamp for my electric waterpump and right now I just have it in the engine bay, where the heck is the hole so i can route the wires through the firewall???

Thanks,

1st you should've drilled a hole in the firewall, then the wire should've been routed before it was connected to the water-pump. When you do run the wire through the firewall, make sure you use a rubber grommet to keep the wire from chaffing against the bare metal in the hole.

I plan on running the wires first, I wanted to make sure what I had done worked. I wouldn't be trying to push the lamp through the firewall.

I have to drill?!? Alot of cars have a hole to pass things through, I would have though this one did too.

there is a whole to the top left of the clutch pedal.
That is where I wired my Tach wire through.

There's a huge rubber grommet in the firewall, right behind the PCM. I have a bundle of instrument wires and the -4AN hose for my nitrous pressure gauge run through there. You will need to pull the passenger side kick panel off to access the "inside" of the grommet.

I stand corrected...looks like you won't have to do any drilling. I wasn't aware of any preexisting holes in the firewall that weren't already being used.
