Question Horn problems help

I have a 1997 Z28.
Every time I wash it or it gets wet one of the horns won't work.
Has any body had this problem?
Once it dries both horns work.
What's up with that?

Thanks,

Chris.

Re: Horn problems help

Is the water going into the horn? Try turning it down if it is...if the wires are getting wet and causing the problem melt plastic over them

Re: Horn problems help

Water is not getting into the horns.
The horns are faceing down .
I am stumped.
Like I said I wash my car hood closed and after when I set the alarm.
One horn.
If I hit the horn button one horn.

Thanks,

Chris.

Maybe a poor connection at the horn that is getting wet. Unplug it, clean it up and use some bulb grease on it.

I will try it cleaning the connections and put some bulb grease on them.
When I got the car the horn was bad I replaced them both and all was fine for a while.
But it kills only one horn even if I wash the car.
Witch means there is no water getting to the horns them selves.
That's why I'm thinking of something in the wiring harness might have gone wrong in it.
