Help with my tail lights PLEASE!!!

The left side tail lights and stop lights are appear dimmer than my right side lights on my 97 TA.

I replaced the entire tail light harness and bulbs and the problem is still there.

When I compare the left and right side lights when they're out of the tail light lens, they appear to have the same brightness. When I put them in the lens, the left one appears to be dimmer than the right.

Do you think the problem could be the tail light lens? I don't see how that could be, but that is all I can think of at this point.

What about putting brighter lights in the left side lens? Does anyone know a part number for brighter bulbs?

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Same as the other thread.... why did you post the same problem twice in two different threads, on the wrong forum?

Moving to "General F-Body Tech".

Usually if a light is dim, you should look at the ground wire.

OK so i just fixed this problem on my TA last week. Ill keep it short.. the sockets had to be replaced. Works like new ever since. There was quite a bit of corrosion and crap inside it. $15 fix.

Thanks but I don't think that's the case for mine. I replace the whole wiring harness with sockets and it's the same.

Someone said it could a discolored lens due to condensation. As far as I can tell, the bulb brightness is the same when they're out of the lens.

Just check the sockets and see if they are crapped out, if so its a cheapy fix. I thought about that discolored lens thing too, but nope. I studied the wiring schematics and all that good stuff but in the end just took 15 minutes. And i drilled a few holes in the bottom of my lights to let any water that may get in again drain out.
