For details on suspension mods, work your way through the "Suspension....." forum.

There is a "sticky" at the top of the "Drivetrain" forum with info on rear axle assemblies.... lot's of posts regarding the SD-60, Strange and Moser 12-bolts and 9-inch assemblies.

As far as the big block, you would have to identify the origin of the 98 roller.... was it a V6 or a V8 (different K-members). As far as stuffing a BB in the 4th Gen, this site has some good info:

http://my.att.net/p/s/community.dll?...geid=28387&ck=

There is also a running thread on the "Advanced Tech" forum on installing a BB in a 4th Gen.

with the clearance issues and the added weight....

i think it would be easier to put a nasty small block in it.

heck even a mild h/c 6.0L block would make similar power as most big blocks.

but whatever floats your boat

The rear and the suspension parts you mentioned aren't going to be any different no matter what engine platform you use. The only real question is how do you put a big block in a 4th Gen. The link I posted answers that question, at least if your idea of a big block is similar to a Chevy 454.

Do you know what size big block? What kind of big block? What he plans on doing do the big block? Without that information it's pretty hard to come to the conclusion you came to.

I think it's awesome. It is definately something different that you don't see every day. Kids today don't even know what a big block is... lol It will be A LOT of work though...

No need to get hostile. In actuality, your initial post was very hard to understand. Lack of punctuation doesn't help. Some people are trying to help you. Ignore the ones who have an attitude.

If you want parts, use the "Marketplace" forums, not the tech forums.
