C105, Pin F ?'s

C105, Pin E (misposted in title), the tan serial data signal, which component does it go to under the hood? Do I need it? Thanks in advance.

Did you check Shoebox's pinout list:

The tan wire goes from the PCM, back around to the other side of the firewall and into the dashboard area to the EBCM and DLC.

So on plug C220, pin F, on a 95', if it doesn't come from the DLC, goes to what device? According to the wiring diagram for the DLC, the serial comes from pin M on the DLC, goes through plug 220, pin F, then to the PCM. The diagram shows the seral for the EBTCM and SIR go through plug C200, pin A12. I guess I need the wiring diagram that might show pin E, on plug C105.

There seems to be a discrepancy or two on the diagrams. F on C220 is tapped into the same wire that is at E on C105. But, F on C220 shows to dead end at C220 on the DLC side.
(plus the diagram shows the EBCM to be on the engine compartment side of C200, but we know it is under the dash)

it eventually ends up at the pcm under the hood, if thats what you're asking. thats the communication bus for all the modules, and how you get codes from the pcm. might help if we knew what you were trying to accomplish here. that way we may be able to better assist you.

Im trying to put my 1995 LT4 into my 1999 T/A. Its becoming a hybris mess. Trying to keep the cabin wiring harness intact, and use the BCM, transplanting the 95 gauge cluster as well, but repinning the harness. ABS is gone, but keeping the airbags. I reworked the engine bay harness using weatherpack connectors, but I didnt run the serial line and now I am wondering if i need it. I believe I have the serial line coming from the DLC plug to plug c220 in the 99 harness, except it is dark green, not tan. Thanks for all the help so far.
