Has anyone heard this combo yet? -Exhaust-

I bought myself the SLP/LT's kit with the HF cats and the 3" Y-pipe for Christmas. I have the Borla 3" adjustable C/B on already. How does this sound. I have a feeling it is going to be LOUD! I will install when I go home on leave in May 05. Where do I get the adjusting plates for the system? I bought the car used with it installed. I think wide open. ---Thanx

Are you talkng about the plates for the Borla exhaust? If so, I know MTI sells them for $10 a piece. I bought the one that closes it off, then found someone selling them on ebay (the whole set and got them for $21.

Thanx for the infoabout the plates, that could come in handy when I get home. I'm wondering if any one has the SLP header kit W/ C-Ypipe, and the bolra exhaust. Does it sound any good or is it raspy? -Thanx

there are probably hundreds of guys running similar combos...not all that unique.

all longtubes basically sound the same, the addition of the cats will definatly mellow out any rasp and quite the system down compared to ORP.

and the borla...well...it's basically a cutout...so it's loud unless you close the plate and run the muffler (which i have never personally heard).

enjoy the horrible ground clearance of those SLP headers!!! not sure how the cats fit either...hope you don't plan to lower the car

If you run the system open there will be rasp I'm sure. If you run through the muffler it should sound good, either way it will be loud. Ya the ground clearence on those headers is harsh so watch out for speed bumps and things. Good headers though.
