Headlight's keep blowing-Anyone else have this problem??

I have now replaced 4 or 5 dim headlights on my 96Z28. They seem to go every 3 or 4 months, and either the left or right, not just a certain one every time. Is this a common thing, I mean are these lights prettymuch junk, or do you think something else is causing it. It's always the dims, I have never replaced a bright one yet.

You're a little vague in your description but do you mean that you keep having to replace the low sealed beam headlight (9006) ??? They will go out more often than the high beams (9005) just for the simple fact that they're used far more often.

Yes, these sealed beams suck but don't change the whole sealed beam unit next time it burns out, save yourself 25 bucks or so and just remove the old bulb and use high temp epoxy to glue a new bulb on the housing. It's a little time consuming to remove the old one and clean everything up but it works well and it's much cheaper than to replace the whole thing 3 to 4 times a year!!!

You can also choose a different bulb manufacturer or hid looking etc.
