so i took my dash a part to install my scanmaster properly today, and now the lower left driver side a/c vent will not sit correctly with the plastic piece under the steering wheel! wtf! anybody know what could be causing this?

i'm about to take it all apart and try it again

 

Something probably isn't sitting right, no real choice but to start taking it apart again.
