Angry 98 Trans Am Headlights!!!!URGENT!!!!

Both of my wifes 98 Trans Am Ram AIR headlights don't work properly so we never get to drive it at night. The driver side makes this loud anoying rattle and it barely goes up. We have to manually lift it up when is rattleing. This is the only way we can make it go up all the way.

The passenger use to work fine but it stopped working without warning. It does not make no sound an it does not move at all.

Sinnce we don't have money right now to fix them, I tought of a temporary fix. If I can get the passenger side to move up at least once along with the drive side. I'm going to take out the 2 fuses that makes them go up & down under the hood and this way they will be up all the time.

I can get the driver side up, but don't know what happened to the passenger side one. like I said, it stopped working without warning. What could it be, (passenger side) maybe a loose ground wire or fuse. the 2 fuses are colored blue but both are good. Is there anything I can do to make the passenger light go up at least once. I've tried forcing it but it won't go up. It is silent and is locked up on the down position. HELP PLEASE.........

I'm not 100% sure on the F-bodies but I used to have a Fiero with pop up lights. If you open the hood there MIGHT be a manual way to raise the lights. On my Fiero it was a round **** on the top of the pump that raised the lights. You just turned it and the lights would go up.Sorry I couldn't be more help.

The gears in your light motors are dead. They are about $130 each. Luckily Brent F found a free fix for it.
