fuel pump relay

fuel pump relay

i have a 1989 iroc z and i cant get the fuel pump to come on no more than once.i was told that it could be the relay but i cant find it.can some one please lead me in the right direction

The relay is under a cover on teh drivers side floor.....it doubles as a 'dead pedal'...you've probably rested your left foot on it while driving.

The cover is removed with a phillips head screwdriver.....

Are you sure it is in the same place on an 89? The OP posted in the wrong forum.

To the OP, I don't have a clue where the 3rd gen FP relay is.....sorry.
