Frozen Trip Odo

I have 1994 Z 6 speed with 135k miles.

The trip odometer stopped working about a year ago. Does anyone know how a big a fix this? I used to use it because the gas gauge was so erratic. I've survived without it.

Mine does not work either. Hopefully there is some simple miracle fix.

Mine quit a long time ago. I think its typical for them to break.

yup, it sounds like the plastic retainer/backing broke. I discovered this when I was installing a gauge overlay. It's a simple fix, a little crazy glue and your set, but taking apart the dash is a pain.

Mine has a cracked gear on it's drive shaft. I fixed it once, but it eventually broke again. I would have tried to fix it again, but I know my old top dash panel will end up in a million pieces.
