About two months ago a friend of mine offered too sell his 97 z28 to me for 2200.00 the car supposedly blew a head gasket. I was thinking about it then stumbled across my 93 for 2500 with only minor problems. Come too find out the heads we're cracked along wit the block. The car has 80,000 miles on it give or take. Its got chrome c5 wheels. Gt sepc bodykit, all leather interior, power everything,carbon fiber hood and a few other goodies. What is a car like this worth? Other han the motor, this car is 100% flawless. I wanna swap my motor and ecu into it along with my opti,radiator,waterpump, and all other accessories that i need. This car is in way better shape than mine and id really like a 6 speed. I also wanna swap my 4.10 gears into the car. I was thinking 1500-1800. Ill go take pics tomorrow and post if i get a chance

 

I think your price range is ok. I don't think $2200 is out of line, but offer him the $1800 and see if he will take it. Heck, used 6 speed tranny's go for 8 or 900 dollars....so getting the entire car for around $2000 isn't bad. 6-speeds are fun too!

 

I bought mine for 1600 one owner very well kept

FYI all 97 Camaros were 30th anniversary editions.
