hello everyone
im new to the site and was wondering if anyone could help me out with this?
i have a 97 z28 30th and a security light on the dash that is flashing.. a few friends told me to buy a new chip key... so i took my old one down to the dealership and had it mached up.. went home and still flashing and wont start.. if anyone could please give me an idea on what i need to do next or where i should look.. thanks guys for all the help..

 

its your vats system. search vats bypass and read how to do it and your problem should be all fixed
