Exhaust question cat delete!

Does anyone here have a Camaro (V8) with no cat but with a muffler. I always wondered how it would sound with no cat and like a magnaflow.

Again... you need to add a signature with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. No one can answer your questions without this basic info.

We also have an "Exhaust" forum.

Do you realize how many different versions of V8 engines were used, with cats, in the various 3rd and 4th Gen models? The major difference is the exhaust sound of the LT1 vs. the LS1, with their totally different firing orders.

Go to the red task bar at the top of the page. Far left, left click on "UserCP". On the dropdown, left click on "Edit Signature". Type the info you want to appear in the "Your Signature" box.

Re: Exhaust question cat delete!

Oh yeah I do know, however if you go on youtube or streetfire or any other video page it is easy finding a refference point. No matter what Camaro and no matter what cat back system you want you can hear it. I'm looking for someone with a cat delete and a aftermarket cat back system. Anyone of them would help.

Basically I wana see if I should install a pair on mine to muffle the sound a bit.
