Drive shaft loop

So i was planning on going to M11 this wekend and running my car but i dont have a safety loop and was wondering if it will be a problem? I dont know when you are required to have them, but i dont have a cage either so i might only get a run or 2 anyway

Re: Drive shaft loop

You need a roll bar (which is not the same as a roll cage) if you run faster than 11.500. You need a cage if you run faster than 10.000.

If you have slicks, you absolutely are required to have a DS loop. I haven't seen a clear description of the rules for other situations.

Re: Drive shaft loop

You may never need the loop(s), but if you do you'll be glad you have one...
