I disconnected my battery to change terminal bolts on my new Z28 and after reconnecting it a blinking blue light on the dash (near the left ac vent) blinks once and a while and the car makes a dinging sound. There are a few weird modules that look like security systems, like on the dash there is this little box connected to a wire that goes down by the firewall and under the hood looks to be a non-working motion sensor.

I don't know what to do here, I was just trying to do something simple and I need the car to go to work tomorrow, should I just try to cut the wires that are from the old security system? The guy I bought the car from only had the car for about 4 months and said he did not know what the box was.
