What other third gen F bodies have a dash pad exactly like the one used in an '89 Iroc Z? Are third gen Firebird dash pads the same as third gen Camaro dash pads? Do all '82 to '92 Camaros use exactly the same dash pad?

 

82-92 firebirds and camaros dash pads are all the same. anything will fit from those years. you can even get 93+ to fit with little modification

 

Wrong. They are not all interchangeable. Firebird dash pads are different than camaro dash pads. Camaros have the indent in the middle for the air vents, firebird ones are flat accross the front. So one from a 82-92 camaro will fit a camaro, and 82-92 Firebirds will fit firebirds....And it would required huge amounts of modifications to make a 4th gen one work. You would have to be an interior fabricator to do that, and you would end up chopping off over half of it anyways...

 

well i'v never had a paroblem swapping dash pads. as a matter of fact, i have a firebird and camaro dash pad in the gurage and the only way to tell them apart is by the speaker grills. i think your talking about appearence wise. they slightly different, but they area direct bolt on
