Coolant on passenger floor? Help!

Is my heater core shot? The heat still works great but all of the sudden tonight there was a strong coolant smell inside the car. After I got home I checked everything out. The passenger side floor has about an inch of coolant on it. How hard is this thing to change(or even bypass for the time being) and is there an online writeup for it? I've gotta get this done tomorrow. How much do they usually run for new ones also? I have a feeling I just have a leak or something because the heat still works just fine.

Not hard from what I have read. If you have coolant in the floor, it's a good bet the core is leaking. Remove the hoses to the core and connect them together for a quick bypass. The coolant smell is a pain to get out of the carpet. Fix or bypass right away.
