Changing battery cables...

Is this a major undertaking? I got some corrosion on the postive cable and figured I better get it changed before it spreads. Any links on this?

Re: Changing battery cables...

Its straight forward but it's a pain since its so close under there. The positive cable goes down to the starter and the engative grounds on the passanger side of the block. Only 1 bolt holds each on but they are wrapped in tape and what not so it just makes it a hassle. You can get it done in 1-2 hours.

It's not too difficult. I replaced my positive one a few months ago. It took about 45mins.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to tear a bunch of stuff apart to do it after hearing horror stories (as in 1000 dollar mechanic bills)from other people trying to do this on other cars.
