Cant find parts for my Convertible top
Hey guys ive been hunting around for a part for my top and have had no luck at junk yards or online. the GM number is 12369565, thats the entire assembly which comes with parts 8,10,11,68,69. All i really need is part 11 which is a solid metal cable that flexes when the top is put down, any idea were i can find such a part?

Re: Cant find parts for my Convertible top
Looks like a discontinued part...
LINK for 1995 Chevrolet Camaro|12369565
I would suggest contacting some of the larger wrecking yards in larger cities. There was a LKQ in Tampa Florida that i used to visit when I was there last year, and they would have a large turn over of F bodies. From time to time there would even be a convertible.
Maybe check craigslist listings?
That or see is you can find a cable elsewhere and make it fit. Maybe check a few local auto upholstery shops. Maybe they might know of something.
But maybe someone around here might have some ideas.

Re: Cant find parts for my Convertible top
You need to start a new thread. Not as likely to get help by tacking on to a years-old thread, only remotely related.
When you start a new thread, you need to explain the exact problem(s) you are having with the radio and power windows - possibly a problem with the retained accessories power (RAP) module. Then clarify what you mean by “converting my top”, and “....96+ models had the bum.....”. Did you possibly mean “BCM”? Not really clear..
