Wipers not going down all the way/go to far up
Wipers not going down all the way/go to far up
My wipers seem to be going about 3 inches too far when using them, and sit way to high when in use and not sweeping. When I go to turn them off(park them) they seem to sit too high. I did some searching on here but haven't found a post that matches my problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Ok well same problem still. I really don't want to take them off just to band aid a problem. Still can't find any post that matches my problem. I've seen talk of pulse boards going bad. Is it possibly the PB? Maybe the motor is bad? Its driving me nuts..
I had that problem. Changed out the one modual on the motor which I think was a couple hundred bucks and it didnt help. The other modual was a hell of a lot more. Fixed the problem but cost a crap load. I had the wipers repositioned like mrmint69 said amd did nothing.
Hmm interesting, my wipers will not go all the way down sometimes when I shut them off. They will remain in the "on" position at the bottom of the windshield. On occasion they will park themselves back where they need to be. Reading this thread now.
Definently sounds like my issue, time to go to a scrapyard and grab a module it looks like. Anyone want to point in where this module will be?

I think this is the picture on shoeboxes site... Diagram Here
Its been a few years but I do remember it being tucked way under there. I would call a autoparts store and see what the have for sale... in my case and probably yours, will need the more expensive part. I think the modual with the motor attached to it.
