Blinking Security Light

Security light was coming on and then I would have to wait for 3 minutes to try again. Now the light is blinking and the car wont do anything.
I tried to ignore this problem because I am buying a new car, but I need to drive it one more time go go from school to Detroit before I put it in storage for a coupole years.
I saw a previous thread saying it moight be a broken wire.
If anyone is in Lansing and can fix this today I will pay $150.00.
Any insight will be greatly appeciated I need this baby fixed by tommorrow.

I dont know what you have tried already. But I would start by cleaning the pellet in the Key if you havent already tried that.

Might be a good idea to add some basic info about your car.... year, model, engine, major mods. It will increase your chances of getting an answer.

Make sure the pellet is centered in the key.

Its not the key. I have had it both of them tested, and both do the exact same thing.
By the way thanks for the most useless answers ever from people who clearly dont know what they are talking about.

I have leather seats too, maybe that helps.

PLEASE REMEMBER the problem at hand. The security light blinks constantly anytime the key is engauged.

Like I mentioned in ym original post someone else had the blinking light and it meant broken wire in the ignition.

I had the same problem and after trying a few things I finally found the fix. I would share it with you but I'm afraid you might think it's a useless answer. These people are just trying to help you and you badmouth them.

Your attitude really sucks. You really need to grow up.
