I'm looking for a WS6 hood for my LT1 and found this one on ebay.. i have placed a bid on it that i will not mention, but how much do you think this thing will go for? it needs mnior repairs on the corners by the windsheld and has a small dime sized hole on the drivers side which appears to be near where the raised part of the hood slopes down...

and also how much would a shop charge to fix/paint this? i'm thinking $300 or so?

$300 could easily cover it, I would say.

i bid $150, and the guy says he'll deliver it halfway to me for $150

i might up my bid to $200 but i dont know if i'd spend $300, plus $150 him to drive it halfway to me, plus my own gas, plus $300 at a body shop to R&R it and paint it....

 

I paid $300 for mine in similar shape to the one you have pictured and ended up paying $450 to the body shop for repairs and paint. I figured its not too bad considering a new OEM/SLP one cost $800 and you would still need to get that painted.
