well Advanced Auto parts sells a IAC sensor for $49.50 which is the same price as GMPARTSDIRECT.com .

anyone know of any place that sells this part cheaper?

I don't remember where he is located off-hand. When I used to work for GM, I got a discount on all parts, stock replacement and performance. Unless things have changed, that should still be the case.

 

Have you tried cleaning yours first before buying a new one?

Dal wants $65.80 plus shipping.... MAN i can get it cheaper from advance auto parts... wonder if i bought one from a junk yard how good the sensor would be from sitting there?

 

i believe you're getting it cheaper b/c you're buying some off the wall brand that may or may not be calibrated right. the iac is a pretty delicate instrument. check with your local GM dealers and find a delco unit or get dal to ship you that one.
