The best battery relocation kit!

Who has the best battery relocation kit for our lt1 cars. I want to have a kit that includes everything, so I don't have to buy extra wire, etc. Also, a kit that includes the battery switch for the track (requirement).

Thanks for the help Mark Tisdale

Their relocation kit is 60.00 with 1 gage cable and 55.00 with 2 guage cable. Scroll down a little on their battery relocation page .

Re: The best battery relocation kit!

You could put your own kit together for around 40.00 . I know you can get some really good heavy guage wire at welding shops, I'm sure there are other places you could get the cable as well. The other little items like hold downs and stuff are at any parts store.

Re: The best battery relocation kit!

I'm considering the relocation of the battery too. Thunder Racing offers the kit but also mentions the disconnect switch and box under it to meet NHRA codes 8:1 and 8:4. If I'm only racing for fun in a "test and tune" do I need the disconnect switch and box too? I don't want to show up at the track come spring and find out I can't race because I only bought the relocation kit.
Thanks.
