Battery relocation kit question

Battery relocation kit question

Ok i got a battery relocation kit.now were do i run the power to off the battery?Do i just ground the negative side to the body??

yes, you ground the negative cable to the body. be sure to clean up the area (sand to bare metal) and bolt it to the body. In my 3rd gen, i was able to find a pre-existing hole in the sheetmetal. The positive cable runs directly to the starter, just as it does from the factory. Be sure to use a grommet when running the positive cable through the firewall so it doesn't eventually cut through the insulation.

Just curious: if you run the + side directly to the starter, where is the rest of the electrical system getting its juice from?

Oh...never mind---I assume that all the other cables wires remain in place at the junction box.
