Automatic Shift **** Removal

Does anybody know if it's possible to remove the factory Automatic Shifter. I hate the top style **** and I'd really like to change the handle to a B&M. Any feedback?

If you just want to remove the **** there's a 'staple' ('U' shaped pin) near the bottom of the **** on the front side that you have to pull out (small flat screwdriver or similar) before you can remove the **** from the stick

Also its easier if you turn the key to the on position and then pull the shifter all the way back into 1st gear, that way you can get to the staple. Then use a flat head screw driver or needle nose plyers, to pull the staple out, then just pull the **** striaght up, just be carefully if its the first time the **** has been off, because it will tend to stick then fly up and hit you in the chin(I found this out the hard way)

Just a plain 3d arrow with stripes on the end? Couldn't you make it animated or something?

The orientation of the 3d arrow is wrong, since it's 3d it should point at the clip not across and past it

It's showing the direction of removal.

I guess I could do that. I'll have to wait until donations at my site go up enough to support the extra bandwidth charges.
