Question how did you connect to your side terminal battery??

Well usualy i would just get an o connector and then bolt it down, but my current system is using a 2 guage from the batterie to a 140 amp breaker. I plan on doing the same to the ground to eqaul it out to the frame. For big amp installs, what did you do.

I used a sidepost terminal adapter and large gauge crimp-on ring connectors.

I'm guessing that if you're running 2 guage, your system is probably big enough that you're going to want a bigger battery to begin with. In that case, I'd recommend what I did which is just get a red top optima and use the top posts for your stereo and the side posts for the rest of your car.

Why red top? Optima suggests the Yellow top for use in car stereo, and using a Red top in audio applications voids the warranty on it... read the FAQ on the optima site, it is very informative.
