Audio and window

Got a 1994 z28 camaro windows and stereo go out and come back on happen twice already

Are you saying that when the speaker stops working, that the power windows also don't work? If so, it sounds like you have a wiring issue between the car and the door.

No the radio the system and the power windows go off than dont work then radio and windows come back on working

Response is for a 93-95....

The radio and power windows are supplied 12 volt power by the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) module. Here's some info on the module, courtesy of Shoebox:

Sounds like a loose connector, or an intermittent problem with the circuit board in the RAP module.

had the exact same problem. it was the RAP module. if i moved the plug around the power to the radio and windows would go on and off. replaced the module and problem solved.

I had this problem. I took the body control module from under the passenger side of the dash and resoldered some pins. See this:


No problems since. Hope this helps you.

The thread starters 94 does not have a body control module.

Probably find one on eBay. Or you could open yours up and see if you can see a problem with the circuit board - loose wire/solder, broken printed conductor, etc.
