Exclamation 95 V6 to V8 Sawp question

I have a 95 Camaro 3.4l V6 thats rust free, but I also have a 95 camaro z28 thats full of rust and I would like to swap the v8 out of it in to my Rust free v6.

The question is What has to be swapped? Does the whole dash harness need changed or is it the Same for the v6 and v8? I already know stuff like the rear end will need to be swapped.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

There's a "V6 to ?????...." thread at the top of the V6 Tech forum. You have to read thru a lot of the BS , but there is feedback and links on the V6 -> LT1 swap.

Re: 95 V6 to V8 Sawp question

Did the swap myself after a "light" roll over. Lol. Dash harness yes in fact I swapped the whole dash it's easier than changing the actual harness it even connects to the rear hatch so the entire interior needs to come out carpet and all. Fuel tank and lines EVERYTHING except the heater box That will be the same I also did the 24 x at the same time. It's a worthwhile swap if you love the lt1 over the ls. Good luck. Ask if you need anything I have a lot of extra parts and every wiring diagram for either swap 24x included.

Thanks for the Help. I seen the 24x swap awhile ago and it never crossed my mind tell I read your post. I'm happy that all my interior is already removed for a stereo install, so that will make less work.
