Post 12V power connection

I was wondering about hooking a hu directly to the battery. If you use the hole behind the glove box, by the PCM, would that be to close to other sources of RFI, or screw up the PCM?

There's no need to but there's nothing wrong with wiring the HU directly to the battery. You just need to make sure that you turn it off when you leave your car. It won't turn off with the key anymore. If you pick up any noise you can reroute the wiring away from the PCM.

Yes you can do it, like he said it will not turn off, but if you get one of those wireless remotes like at meijers, you could turn it on from like 100 feet away, I have seen this done before its pretty cool!

Thanks. I figured it could be done, but just wondered if there would be any problem with the PCM and power cables. I'm not gonna do, just got to wondering about the PCM.
