Will a set of 4th gen power seats fit in a first gen with minor modification?

As long as they aren't too high to start with (which they should be since they sit right on the floor anyway) you sould be able to fab up an adapter plate if needed as I'm sure the floor board where the seat bolt up is contoured differently, but nothing a little flat stock or boxed tubing should be able to take care of.
A freind of mine as Ford Escort sport seats in his '68 Camaro that fit really nicely.
I put 5th gen Vette seats in my truck so anything is possible with a few hand tools
