z28 running rough

I have a 94 z28 I replace the opti with a msd unit and added a msd blaster coil and a set of headers. Now it seems as though i lost power. It sounds like one of my cylinders are missing. When the car is running it is shaking and backfiring also. I cant even spin tires. Does any body know what is going on with my car?

after reading your blog post i am going to tell you that it sounds like you have a wire swapped, it is so easy to do and does exactly what you posted, please take the time to go over each and every wire and then come back and we will go from there

one thing at a time, fix the miss first

thanks man i checked it out and i had 6 and 8 swapped. Swapped them and it runs like a champ. My lt1 is almost stock I put on a 52mm TB , opti, and headers. I would like to swap out the cam what would be a good upgrade for a stock lt1 and where is the best place to get it

good, i am glad to hear you got it fixed

cam selection is very important, and there is alot of information already here, you just need to search to find it, what you need to do is do a few searches and do some research on the subject - after that if you still need too, create a thread with lots of information about your car, mods, what you want from the car, things like that,

alright, i took it out this weekend and it sounded like it was missing again. I dont know where i should go from here. I rechecked all the wires and everything is on in the right place. it sounds like it is spitting and sputtering. Is their a way to play with the fuel air mixture?
