wierd fuel pump or relay problem..

i kno there are posts out there like this but i have to ask cuz mines alil different, about an hour ago i went down the road made a left and started to accelerate when all of a sudden the car bogged came back on bogged again and then died, i pulled over it started and ran at about 400 rpm and died if i didnt give it gas eventually it would not start (battery drained from cranking) so i jumped it, and know it spins and tries to start but seems like there is no gas i dont think the fuel pump is priming (didnt hear it) is there a way to test the fuse and relay? which fuse is it i couldnt find that info, as for the relay i know where it is but how do i check it thank you

First check the fuel pressure. That will tell you if the pump is running, and putting up the required pressure. If the pump is not running, you can "test" prime it with the gray connector next to the PCM, bypassing the relay.

Your Owner's Manual will list the fuses and what they have on them.

Shoebox has a pic of the fuel pump prime connector, and a link to the online Owner's Manual if you don't have one:

Try the old trick of banging on the bottom of the tank while someone turns the key on. Many and I mean many fuel pumps have been kick started this way. One easy test free method to prove it is the pump.

I have also seen quite a few fuel filters that had water in them and it froze causing a blockage.

If you really want to you can pull the left rear wheel and check the connector coming from the back of the rear seat area that carries the voltage to the pump. If you have voltage there and the pump is not running, you found the problem.

well it has been between 0-20 degrees for the past 3 weeks, and i put in the anti-water stuff in the tank about 2 weeks ago.. so its def worth a check ill check everything that you mentioned.
