walboro fuel pump been sitting for 7 yrs

will this pump be any good after sitting dry on the shelf for so many yrs

back in 1999 when I pulled the drivetrain out of my GN to sell it as a roller I also pulled out the fuel pump which was only in the car for a couple hundred miles and its been sitting on a shelf for 7 yrs

now I am going to put a ford 9 inch rear in the TTA so while the rear is down and out of the way I'm going to drop the tank and replace the pump

at most i could see it needing a rebuild if any o-rings or gaskets got crusty from it sitting. if there was any gas in it that could be powdery too.

hook it to a battery and put it in a bucket of water and see if it pumps.
