v6 fuel pump died

v6 fuel pump died
so the fuel pump on my 97 v6 camaro died if i go ahead and swap the fuel pump for a z into the car will it mess up anything i think i remember reading that there was something different about it (more pressure or something) will it work for a v6 car without any problems
