i recently replaced the vortex super charger belt and tensioner in my 96 Camaro. she fired right up had good vacuum and boost. i parked it for 2 days and went to take it out and by the end of my street it suddenly spit sputtered then died. it still cranks but just wont turn over. fuel and oil pressure are good and no leaks anywhere. ANY IDEAS WHERE TO START?

 

I recently had to change my distributor because of the same cranking but not turning. The fuel pressure was fine, along with the oil pressure. I was receiving spark but not turning. Check your distributor. A gm stock distributor ran me approximately 400 bucks from summit over nite shipping. About the cheapest I could find it new. If you want to buy that and have a preformance cap and rotor I currently have an msd cap and rotor i'd part with for $80 plus shipping. I am assuming you have a LT1 5.7L 350 V8. Cap and rotor won't be enough to fix it by the way. Text me if you like 321-295-1037
