Cool Replacing opti-spark with LS-1 Ignition

I was checking out a Z-28 on e-bay. He mentioned changing opti-spark in a `95 LT-1 with ignition from a newer LS-1 system. How big of a job is this.. My `95 is tore down now and would be a good time to change if not too technical of a job..Anyone have any info. on this changeover? thanks

Perhaps he's referring to the LTCC setup from Bailey Engineering:

The only LS1 coil conversions I have seen, like the LTCC or my own MoTeC setup still use the Opti optical signal as the cam position sensor. The stock LT1 PCM needs the optical signals from the Opti to time the fuel and spark. It will not function without at least the low resolution pulse pattern from the Opti.
