Please help! ICM problem
Please help! ICM problem
I had a problem with the car dying while idling and there was no spark when trying to start the car. Before that, I had put new delco iridium spark plugs and wires. Since there was no spark, I assumed it was the ignition control module. I put a new one in and now it there is spark and it tries to start but it there is some kind of popping like misfiring and it won't start. All the cables are set up right, I checked them 3 times. One coil is also new. What could the problem be?
The vehicle is a 2001 Camaro 3.8 L engine..
I checked them 3 times and the wires going to the plugs are right..
This is what is happening now...
The one coil in the middle does not get any spark. The car does not start. It cranks and it cannot start. Could this be from too much cranking and maybe the plugs are wet from too much fuel? What could the problem be? The ICM is new... so can it be some wire going to the ICM or the PCM ? Please help me out.

I used to get a random misfire code before that but since I have cleared the PCM, I'm not getting any codes since the car has not started since then..other than that I do have spark from the other coils. I also rotated coils and it's still only the middle one that does not get spark. I also tested them. Could it be the wires going from the ICM to the PCM or the ICM connector? Shouldn't the car be able to start even with the 2 coils working with 4 cylinders working?
