picīs of Elīmotives crank trigger kits for LT1

Anyone have that?

I see they sell for ca $160..

Like to know if I can fit this on my turbo LT1 and needs to how the sensor is positioned. (some bracket bolted to the waterpump, I think)
Is it an 8" wheel?

Want to do a crank trigger with wasted spark and Accel gen 7 or Megasquirt.
(perhaps direct-fire if I can fit a cam sensor in my old Opti)

This was the crank wheel and sensor that E'motive included in their original LT1 SDI/Opti-Eliminator kit, back in the late 90's. The sensor is attached under a water pump bolt at about 11 o'clock in the picture:

looks like the sensor placing is good but the wheel seems to be huge!
Could interfere with my turbo piping i'm afraid..

Thank you for the picture, now I know what it looks like!

If you like to get rid of the distributor (OPTI or conventional) why areīnt more people using this, since this is a angle base timing trigger, wich is superior to a time based trigger like MSD crank trigger? (superior if you have no distributor, angle or time dont matter if you run a distributor)

Even with waste spark it must be better and simplier than flying magnets (MSD) and a distributer, no?

Or isīnt e,motive selling theese no moore? I just saw some speedshop offering this for $160 witch is much less than the MSD..?

I have to make up my mind soon............

I'm also interested. I've been looking into doing a MSII setup and use the stock PCM to just run the gauges, hvac, and tranny stuff..

If i do the MSII/EDIS setup, i can completely eleminate the opti right? This seems like a much cheaper option then my ltcc and lt1 edit setup i was going for.

Is there anyone that has a LT1 with MSII w/ the EDIS setup on their car that has any input?

It canīt be any different then using, for example, a FAST ecm and cranktrigger + camsensor and waste- or direktspark ignition controlled by the FAST ecm.

Well, much cheeper of course

Iīd rater use the Eīmotive cranktrigger, the megasquirt has support for 60-2 triggers. I think the rpm-limits for edis is around 6500rpm. (the output-power is dropping)
