Does anyone know if there is a different pulse between the '94 optical sensors and the '95 optical sensors on lt1s? I want to know because if anyone saw my previous post about changing the '93 opti to the '95 on a '93 lt1, my optispark keeps going out. Turns out, the pin on the cam that turns the opti on the '95 and newer is a different length for the different optispark design, so we might do a cam swap.

Besides that again, does anyone know if there is a different pulse between the '94 optical sensors and the '95 optical sensors? Im just guessing that could be why my optispark keeps going out.

 

I've never known anyone to have a problem swapping from non-vented to vented, so I would say there is no functional difference.

 

The pulse patterns are identical between the vented and unvented Optis of all years. And they are all a 0-5V square wave.
