Question is this an opti problem?

My car will just turn over but won't crank I checked to see if fuel was coming up through the lines and it was so I guessing that its not igniting i guess but could someone help me out because I planning on going through with the opti surgery in the morning

Check for spark

Look for spark so you know thats good. What about your fuel filter?

re

Just pull one plug and turn the motor over. You should get a spark if you holfd it near ground on the bolck or headers.

It could be ICM/COIL, Opti just passes the spark alone.. unplug your wire from the opti/coil, and replace it with a spark plug wire put a plug on the end, and ground it (lean it) against your block. Crank it and look for spark. If you have no spark out of the coil, then I'd look at replacing the coil or ICM (and or checking all the wires leading to them)

How about going through some of Shoebox's "how to's?"

Might be able to help diagnose before you keep throwing money at it.
