I read after 2008 there will no more lead fuel sold. I wanted to know what a lot of tuners and shops were going use to substitute?

Are you sure you aren't just confusing this with the announcement that NASCAR is going to unleaded fuel in 2008?

Per VP Fuels, they are not aware of any formal plan to eliminate lead from off-road use.

 

Please don't fault me but source is wikipedia, the 2008 ban of lead fuel is part of the Clean Air Act in 1996. I emailed VP Fuel and said they know nothing about the ban. I hope that is correct I don't want to see lead go.

 

I don't consider Wikipedia a reliable source for anything.
