Yes, I was talking the crank fuse. Wrong rabbit hole I guess.
The yellow wire out of the ignition switch does go hot when the key is turned. The next stop is the starter enable relay. I don’t have power on the purple wire to the starter so the start enable relay isn’t receiving a ground to close it. The ground signal comes from the pass unit.
Since the security light never comes on at all it
bothers me because the prints that I’ve reviewed the bulb power is generated by tdm.
thoughts?
The car crank over now, fuel pressure is at 42 during prime and turning over. Fresh gas.
did the resistor trick no change, it turns over good but seems like it not getting any fuel. We talked before about grounding a fuel enable wire blk/wht. Is this it? Can’t find theses on a wiring diagram anywhere
this relay is on the right side kick panel.

What did you find to prevent cranking? Dealing with something similar on a 93 right now. No security light on bulb check, ect.
Ok here ya go.
First thing is the car sat for 7+ years.
I had no fuel pump prime, cut the hole, installed new pump, no change.
Talked to several forums, checked ignition switch, all good. Did the resistor trick, no change. I was told it was TDM and New Rockies offers a replacement module but, it’s extremely difficult to remove. I purchased the module but haven’t used it yet because you need to install by the PCM and their instructions aren’t the best.
These Camaros are a nightmare to work on because modules and relay’s are not where instructions say they are. Very frustrating because I have almost every panel off the dash.
I was talking to this other guy and he purchased a chip that goes in the PCM and it bypasses the VATS crap. I don’t like wiring in mods that aren’t very clear so I went with the chip for $250.
I installed the chip and now at least it turns over but I don’t think I’m getting any fuel because the injectors are stuck or clogged. I had to bypass/jumper out the start relay also. The car will run on starting fluid so know I have spark. The start relay is on the right side next to the glovebox. They all say it’s on the left under the kick panel. Mine wasn’t there.
Im not a fan of this car but it’s my wife’s that her stepdad saved for her.
start relay jumper. Yellow to green. I used a piece of solid 14g and it fit it in the socket instead of cutting things
This is the chip company, great guys http://www.pcmofnc.com/
The TDM is behind the stereo on upper right, all you see is the corner and no access to the screws to drop it down.
Check to ignition switch and the resistor on your key, they all say do that first. Injuneer has a bunch of wiring diagrams but make sure your looking at 93 prints. There’s a lot of 95 stuff in there. I’ll send you link.
sorry for being long winded
good luck
Are you saying that things are not located where the 1993 factory service manual says they are? 93 is an oddball. Many things are different than the 94 and up models. Makes it very hard for any of us who have never worked on a 93 to help you. That's why I suggested the 93 FSM.
PS - I don't have a "bunch of wiring diagrams". What I have is knowledge of the Shoebox site and where to find them.
You didn’t upset at all. Sorry if I came across that way. I want to help. All I was saying is things aren’t where they are supposed to be 😂. Like the start relay for one.
I thought this was going to an easy process to get it running and I was totally wrong. I’m fighting it and it’s fighting me back. I’ll win this battle! It’s a nice car and wife loves it.
I might end up looking for a PCM because the injector pulses come from there and I’m not sure I’m pulsing power to the injection.
I’m learning too.
Let me know how or what you find out.

Good looking out, Thanks homie. Jumped the TDR relay, have crank now, no spark as well. I ordered a 30hz vats bypass deal on Evilbay, and hopefully that will give me injector activation. Its cool to see an actual forum still active in 2024. Was like the good old days when i looked at your post and it was withing the past decade!!
This is it. Just installed, still no pulse. Guess i get to hop on the diag bus and take a trip. This car is a nightmare of the owners dad parked the car due to a smoked engine for years, then died, then uncle stole the car, then customer recovered with no keys. It then landed at my shop, I had door keys made and replaced the ignition switch but couldn't get the Passkey resistor value from Chevrolet. New engine is in, and runs off of alternative fuel source. Now to make the injectors fire, Yay me!
Dang, I thought I had problem child! You got a hell of a story!
I haven’t touched the car in over week. I need to check the injectors to see is they are possibly clogged due to sitting or do a noid test
What did you order from evil bay?
